Will Phillips play? - 07/11/2001

England play Sweden on Saturday, and it's been touted as the final chance for Kevin Phillips. I feel sorry him, as season after season he's done the business and yet he's never been given a run in the international side. Lets face it, Sunderland haven't had the success of Man United or other big clubs, but Phillips has always done well - don't forget, it's easier to score when you play for a dominant side, but Sunderland don't create that many chances, so credit where's credit due. I just hope he does enough to get another chance!
