I'm backing Shearer to sign off in style - 09/03/2006
I'm sure Alan Shearer will be feeling confident that he can sign off at Old Trafford in the right manner on Sunday.
It's well documented that Alan could have signed for Man United during his career not long before coming to Newcastle, and I am sure deep down most of the Old Trafford fans understand his reasons for doing that.

Nobody can complain about the run
This will be a true indicator of how far United have come since Graeme Souness left, even though it wasn't that long ago.
United are playing with a new injection of confidence and are in good shape.
