It’s not been a great month or so for you Bees fans, and we’re all gutted that we haven’t built on some promising performance in October and November. We’re determined to put things right and hopefully that’ll start against Peterborough on Saturday. I’ve got a bonus clause in my contract which means that if I score one more goal I’ll get a £5,000 payment. Not that it’ll make any difference to my performance – I’d still want to score a hat-trick if I was playing on Hackney Marshes!! Saying that, I could do with a new motor and the money will come in handy.

Posh are a bit like us – up and down – let’s hope we’re up and they’re down when we meet. We owe them after they turned us over 3-0 at our place. They’re just below us in the table so it’s a bit of a six-pointer.

With the Premiership transfer window being open, there’s all sorts of speculation flying around. I didn’t see it myself, but someone told me that Sky Sports were reporting that I was off to Reading?! It’s honestly news to me and all I can think is that they’ve put two and two together and come up with five. I know Steven Sidwell form his time on loan here, and I also know Lloyd Owusu who’s on-loan from Sheff Wed, so last Tuesday and went over and watched their game with Preston. Obviously with Steve Coppell also managing me at Palace, I can only guess that someone’s jumped to the wrong conclusion. So just for the record, I’ve had no contact with any club – let along Reading.
