I’m still not fit – the groin is taking it’s time to heal and I’m finding watching games very frustrating. We’re not playing well and all I want to do is get back on the pitch and try and make a difference. I think I’ll be back in training by the end of the week and it’s possible that I’ll be back shortly after that – time will tell.  We’ve had a disappointing season, and when we kicked off in August I honestly thought that promotion was a strong possibility. Now, six months later we’re
actually fighting relegation! It’s difficult to put your finger on why we’ve struggled. To be honest, I just don’t know! We’ve some good players at the club and although we’ve lost Paul Smith to Southampton, our form was poor before he left! The gaffer’s brought in a couple of players, and for example Tommy Smith’s done well. It’s just a shame he’s been injured for a few games. So nothing’s really changes in terms of the squad from the start of the season. Yes we’ve had a few injuries, but that’s football and it’s not just Brentford players who miss games through injury!! When you look at the table you can’t help feeling that we’re better than fifth from bottom. But West Ham were too good to go down last season, and now they’re playing in the First Division. Perhaps we just need a bit of luck?
