Stephen Hunts new club - 28/07/2004
Brentford midfielder Stephen Hunt has been given a free transfer by the club.
Hunt, who has a year left to run on his current contract, made 38 league appearances for the Bees last season, scoring 11 goals.
Manager Martin Allen told the club's official website: "We do not require a transfer fee for Stephen's services and this will allow him to move on and hopefully prosper, and will allow me the opportunity to work with a settled squad prior to the season.
"I am happy with my current squad of players and of course have to fit in all the salaries of the players to match the budget that I have been given for the coming season."
Bees goalkeeper Alan Julian and midfielder Matt Somner are currently in talks with League Two side Wycombe.
