Bad luck Bellers! - 05/04/2002

The team was in good spirits with the news that Kieron Dyer is to be included in the preliminary England World Cup squad, and also Al nearing the 200 Premiership goal mark, the only disappointment has been Beller's breaking down again. We think it's going to be another two weeks before he'll be in contention again, and we've all got our fingers crossed for him.

I think it's fair to say that he's been misssed. The statistics can tell a story, although since he's been out we've played Arsenal a few times and also Liverpool, so they were always going to be tough games. But he does give us something extra, and this is why I think he's close to being nominated for the PFA Young Player award. I just hope that this latest setback doesn't knock his chances.
