Going well
Happy with my form

With wins against Orient at home and Cambridge away, we’re playing well and looking forward to tomorrow’s game against Doncaster. Everyone knows that
they’re at the top of the table, but it doesn’t mean that we’re not looking forward to the game. We’ve got faith in our ability and you like to play against the better teams in order to test yourself.

I think the FA Cup run took our minds off the league, we didn’t perform well during that time and I think we only won one game. But now a couple of decent results can see us right up there, but on the other hand, a couple of bad results could see us drop out of the picture. We’re not thinking that way though, we’re confident – and I think that shows in our performances. I honestly think we’ve got a good a squad as any in this division, and promotion is more than just a possibility.

We’ve been linked to two more players recently; Paul Connor from Rochdale and Barry Conlon from Darlington. Both players will give us options and we boost our push from promotion. It also marks the ambition of the Chairman – something that I for one find reassuring.

It’s a real relief to have my sending off against Tranmere over turned. I was gutted when I got the red card as I simply knew that I didn’t deserve to walk. I don’t know how the ref came to the decision to send me off, but the fact that his decision has been proved to be wrong speaks for itself. Getting Man of the Match didn’t mean a lot at the time, but at least I can look back and feel happier that they’ve gone some way to right the wrong.
