(Another) Classic six-pointer
I think this guy likes to play against Leeds!

With tonight’s game following in from last weeks trip to Liverpool, Newcastle are facing two of their five main rivals within the space of a week. For me the top of the Premiership will be dominated by the same six teams as last year, and if Newcastle aren’t going to achieve the ultimate prize, then they have to aim for a top four place. The financial rewards of Champions League football are great, missing out would be a severe blow.

Apart from the very disappointing Man City result, we’ve started off quite well. Taking a point at Anfield also meant taking two points off Liverpool. It’s the same again tonight against Leeds. If they were to leave St. James with all three points it would give them a massive boost, but with Robert and Bellamy back, we should have too much for them. Chelsea are the other team to take points off, and when do we play them? Oh yeh, on Saturday!! I’d settle for a win and a draw, or even two draws – for the very reason that our closest challengers wouldn’t be picking the points up against us.
