We really enjoyed ourselves at the race course on Saturday night, but more importantly we raised more than £36,000 (which blew away the target of £10,000) for the William Hardy Trust. As well as the charity meal, we had an auction and there was even a casino. The little man was there himself and as you can see, both OB and I were very pleased to meet him again.

We’re also planning a special fund raising auction in partnership with Barry Venison’s www.bid4sport.com. A number of player’s have donated training and match kit – which will be auctioned through Barry’s site. Everything from ‘Jock-straps to jersey’s’ will be available – although the jock strap will just be signed NOT worn!!

We’re looking to get the auction underway from mid-October, but I’ll keep you updated as soon as I hear something.
