Playing the wrong Game? - 02/07/2002
One in the eye for Sunderland! |

I’ve been to Sunderland today, and it wasn’t for the first time! No, nothing to do with football, but I’ve been having treatment at the Sunderland Royal Eye Infirmary. I felt that my vision wasn’t quite as good as it ought to be so I thought it’d be a good idea to get a check up. They found that I had cataracts and rugby ball shape eyes – so perhaps I chose the wrong sport?
I must say that I’ve been really impressed with the treatment I’ve received. The specialist, Mr. Danjoux is a world renowned expert and oversaw the 'lasik' laser treatment that I had. I didn’t like the thought of having treatment on my eyes, but really I couldn’t say it was anything more than uncomfortable. Maybe I’ll recommend him to a few referees this season!?
Anyone interested should tale a look at Mr.Danjoux’s website – www.site-for-eyes.co.uk
